Our Lord and God and Saviour Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, descended from the heavens for the salvation of the human race and bestowed upon fallen man innumerable gifts and benefactions, chiefly for his redemption and deification. In return for all these surpassing gifts and benefactions, our Lord and God and Saviour Jesus Christ received from the Jews and from the Romans—and from the whole of mankind—indifference, ingratitude, betrayal, dishonour, rejection, scourging, crucifixion, and a death of reproach—except of those who truly believe in Him and love Him. And yet, upon the Cross He cried, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do,” forgiving all; and by His Resurrection He returned doing good, granting life and resurrection unto all.

By His Ascension He prefigured His second and glorious Coming, when He shall judge the living and the dead; and by the holy Pentecost He bestowed the consolation of the Holy Spirit until the consummation of the age, founding His one and only Ecclesia, which is Orthodoxy, unto which He calleth all nations and peoples and tribes of the earth, through the enlightenment of Orthodox Ellenism in the Holy Spirit, that all may be saved and come unto the knowledge of the Truth.

And yet, throughout the ages, from the creation of the world unto the end thereof, none hath been found like unto Him, neither shall any be found to attain unto His height and stature. Neither angel, nor man, nor philosopher, nor king, nor prophet, nor righteous one hath reached the perfection of divinity and humanity together, as He alone hath, Who is the only perfect God and perfect Man, the only One worthy to bear the two natures without confusion, without change, without division, without separation, and without commixture in His one divine-human Hypostasis.

No other hath been able to offer unto the whole of mankind such great and mighty goods: redemption, deification, resurrection, everlasting life, forgiveness, peace, love that surpasseth all understanding. All the wise men of the nations, all the leaders and teachers, all religions and traditions, all the lights of this world, are but faint rays before the Sun of Righteousness, our Lord and God and Saviour Jesus Christ!!!

For He is the promised Messiah, Who was prefigured and proclaimed by the holy Prophets of the Old Testament, from Adam unto John the Baptist: “for this is that which was spoken by the prophets.” But also in the traditions of all the peoples and nations of the earth, from East unto West, from North unto South, from the ancient Ellines unto the Indians, the Chinese, the Egyptians, and the people of America, there was the expectation of a Saviour, a God-Man, a Redeemer who would come to save the world from darkness and death. All these expectations, all the prophecies of the nations, were shadowy and dim manifestations of the one and only Truth: the coming, the presence, and the Salvation Mission of our Lord and God Jesus Christ.

He is the Desire of the nations, the One longed for throughout the ages, the only true God Who was born in the flesh, Who hath fulfilled all the Holy Scriptures and all the traditions of all peoples and nations of the earth, and all the hearts of those who sincerely seek and yearn for Him in a Fervent Spirit and in Truth!!!

There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
