Rather, it is to highlight and manifest the Truth (aletheia) and to restore Ecclesial Order on the basis of Ecclesial History, Holy Tradition, the divinely inspired and true Orthodox Faith, and the Sacred Canons. As is well known, the Slavic patriarchates constitute modern (18th-century and later) constructs outside the sacred Ecclesiastical History and Tradition of the ancient Patriarchates; they arose from strong Slavic national sentiment or mindset, which at times exceeds Truth and Unity in the Orthodox Ecclesia.
