Sergey Lavrov, with his public statement on the anniversary of the Soviet-Turkish treaty, did not merely make a rhetorical political-historical reference; he committed an act of blasphemous and insulting humiliation of the Orthodox Ellenism. Through this statement, Moscow unmistakably demonstrates its preference for Slavic nationalism and geopolitical power over the Orthodox Faith of the Church and Orthodox Ellenism.
Lavrov, proudly proclaiming Moscow’s support for Ankara during the 1922 war, did not hesitate to openly insult Ellas and its historical memory, proving that for today’s Russian leadership, ethnic arrogance is the absolute value, thereby blasphemously reducing Orthodoxy to a mere tool of propaganda — one that is discarded whenever Slavic nationalist interest demands an alliance with the islamic factor.
The essence of the offense lies in the open admission, reminder, and glorification of the specific assistance that soviet Russia provided to kemal for the massacre and extermination of the Ellines of Asia Minor. The text of the Treaty of Moscow of March 16, 1921, along with its accompanying memoranda, constitute objective documents proving the criminal intervention of the slavs in favor of the mason and antiChrist kemal and against the Orthodox Ellines. More specifically, Moscow did not limit itself to diplomatic support; it provided kemal with the following concrete means:
- Financing in Gold: The soviet union supplied enormous amounts in gold rubles and gold bullion, which were used directly to pay the turkish army and to purchase war materials from international markets, at a time when Turkey was economically exhausted.

In 1922, Ellas found itself exposed and abandoned by everyone, facing an enemy supplied not only by the antiChrist Germany but directly from the heart of the soviet union. Lavrov’s statement is not mere political rhetoric; it is a blasphemous, insulting, and offensive act aimed at the moral staining and humiliation of Ellas and its national dignity.
The explanation for this loathing lies in Lavrov’s personal and ideological makeup. He is a product of the hardline soviet school, not of the tradition of Orthodox Tsarist Russia. His parents, embedded in the bolshevik administrative machinery of the USSR, produced a successor who has no connection whatsoever to the Orthodox Holy Tradition and Consciousness, to the Orthodox Ecclesia, or to Orthodox Ellenism. Lavrov grew up with the ideals of atheistic internationalism and the KGB — ideals that demand the subjugation of peoples and the destruction of national and religious traditions and institutions whenever they obstruct slavic nationalist plans. Consequently, Lavrov’s ethno-soviet-slavic hatred completely overrides any bond of love, friendship, and solidarity toward Orthodox Ellenism, turning Russia into a persecutor, enemy, and adversary instead of a friend, ally, and protector.
The statement was utterly blasphemous, provocative, vulgar, and historically inexplicable. Lavrov chose to celebrate, praise, and highlight the treaty that supplied the weapons for the slaughter of Orthodox Ellines in Asia Minor — a land that for 5,000 years has been the cradle of the Ellines and for 2,000 years the cradle of Orthodox Ellenism — thereby deliberately projecting blasphemy, insult, and offense. This hatred is political and nationalist, serving the interests of a Russia that views Orthodox Ellenism as a permanent enemy and obstacle to its slavic nationalist designs, goals, and ambitions (Patriarchate, Jerusalem, Holy Mountain, Ellas, Aegean Sea, and the E$llenic Islands). In this context, Orthodoxy serves the slavs only when convenient, but is shamelessly sacrificed whenever interest demands alliance with the enemies of Orthodox Ellines.
The alliance with turkey, which Lavrov extolled, is proof that for Moscow the power of slavic ethno-racialism is more important than the salvation and long-term survival of Orthodox Ellenism.
It was an act of betrayal of the Orthodox Christian heritage and of the memory of the Christianization of the Slavs by Orthodox Ellines, but also an act of absolute ingratitude toward the possibility — indeed the certainty — that Russia would have been undoubtedly and securely dissolved by the bloodthirsty Hitler if the Orthodox Ellines brothers, shedding their blood and sacrificing their lives on the Albanian mountains and in the Ellenic interior, had not pinned him down, allowing winter to catch up with him during the great offensive and enabling the Russian brothers — who by then had had all the time they needed to prepare early enough — to crush him, thanks to this superhuman and supernatural struggle of their Orthodox Ellenic brothers.
