The first testimony about the actual existence of the Marble—Sleeping King was shared by the great Elder Ephraim of America—Arizona (+12/8/2019 AD), former Abbot of the Holy Monastery of Philotheou on Mount Athos (see here).
HOLY MONASTERY OF PHILOTHEOU
In that blessed monastery, where Father Kosmas also once lived, I first heard this shocking revelation nearly twenty years ago, from a cassette with Elder Ephraim’s voice, given to me by a monk, named A., who was deeply touched by these matters. This was during the tenure of Elder Ephraim the Younger, now the Righteous Elder of the Holy Skete of St. Andrew and St. Anthony in the Karyes (see here).
We were a group with two cars at the time, and on our way back from the Holy Mountain, we played the cassette to listen. What Elder Ephraim (Arizona) said was truly stunning! Not only did it confirm the existence of the Marble King, but it also revealed his name, which, contrary to what we had believed until then ("Constantine" Palaeologus), was actually "IOANNIS"!
IOANNIS VATATZIS
After searching and asking a few more times at the monastery, I found out that this mysterious name most likely referred to the Emperor of Nicaea, Saint John Doukas III Vatatzis the Merciful (+November 4)!
I would later learn more about him when I passed through Didymoteicho and climbed to his majestic Castle, exploring every corner and small, picturesque church, until I was moved and filled with longing when I found there a small, humble folk image of our Holy King, and I knelt in respect and spiritual relief in his grace!
I first published that image and all the information I had gathered up to that point on "I CARE" (here), and the image of the Saint, along with his additional role as the Marble King, began to spread across Greece, Cyprus, and the whole world!
Since then, I have added new elements, new testimonies, and new revelations in other publications, such as the one by General Makriyannis, to whom God showed in a vision this very same Marble King of Orthodox Hellenism being crowned inside Hagia Sophia, starting a new and glorious chapter in our history (here)!
However, the starting point, and the most solid and trustworthy testimony, came from Elder Ephraim of Arizona, which I was later able to capture in a unique video (see it at the end).
THE STUNNING TESTIMONY OF ELDER EPHRAIM OF ARIZONA
Elder Ephraim of Arizona, a former novice of the Holy Elder Joseph of the Hesychast and Cave-dweller, a prominent figure on Mount Athos, recounted that the information about the existence of Ioannis was given to them before 1955 by the Archbishop Ierotheos from Minor Asia, who had even ordained him! This Archbishop Ierotheos told them that he had seen with his own eyes the sleeping King, Ioannis!
ELDER EPHRAIM OF ARIZONA:
“…There is a sleeping general named Ioannis, and then, the Archangel Michael will point out to the Christians that he will now reign. He will point to the place with his finger, and they will call him to lead and reign over the Greek and Orthodox people. And this will happen.
Years ago, on Mount Athos, there was an Archbishop named Ierotheos. He came from Minor Asia. The Ecumenical Patriarchate had placed him on Mount Athos to carry out ordinations, memorial services, liturgies, etc. He was a holy Archbishop, of the type of St. Nicholas. From this holy Archbishop, I received the priesthood. A blessed man of God!
I’ll tell you one thing. The vigils we held! Fifteen-hour vigils, this man, an eighty-year-old elder, never sat down. He would get off his throne and stand again. And during the liturgy, three hours after the long Vigil, he stood for the entire service! We would put a chair for him to sit, but he refused. He would say, 'The Virgin hasn’t tired me yet,' though his whole body was trembling from exhaustion.
This holy Archbishop told us. He saw the sleeping General Ioannis, who will awaken when the 3rd great World War happens! He saw him! Because the lips of archbishops and priests do not lie.
He told us the truth. We asked him. At that time, my blessed father and the holy Elder Joseph the Hesychast were still alive, and all of us were with him. We had him in our little chapel, and there we sat and asked him questions. And he told us everything. We heard it with our own ears.
He said, 'There is this sleeping King, and he will be resurrected.'
We asked him, 'When, Elder? When, holy Archbishop of God?'
He said, 'When the 3rd World War happens!'
And he also told us, 'His right hand is on the hilt of the sword! The sword is still in its sheath.'
He told us, 'When the sword is drawn from its sheath, the 3rd World War will begin.'
And we, out of curiosity, asked him,
'Your Eminence, how far is the sword from its sheath?'
'Only a few inches remain for it to come out,' he said…!"
This stunning revelation from Archbishop Ierotheos occurred shortly before the events of the 1955 Pogrom in Constantinople and Smyrna (see here), during the lifetime of the holy Elder Joseph the Hesychast, who fell asleep on August 15, 1959.
THE MARBLE KING EXISTS!
The Marble King exists! The wondrous Providence of God and the great love of our Holy Virgin for our Orthodox and martyred people will not allow our nation to be lost! The true Greece (+Cyprus) will rise again and will once again illuminate the world! The so-called "Byzantine," that is, the Greek, Empire is returning, to serve once again the lost and deceived humanity, and to definitively stop Turkey and its extreme wing of Islam, which has led, for centuries, to the bloody massacres of ISIS in Syria, spreading mourning and destruction across nations (Genocides of Greeks, Armenians, Kurds), beginning with the sacred city of St. Constantine and the Theotokos! Constantinople of the Greeks! The Imperial City of the Nation!
Hellenism with Orthodoxy triumphs both on earth and in heaven! Without it, it is lost, it sinks, it slowly dies, it self-destructs! With the only true and righteous, living Faith, it becomes brave, it resurrects, it shines, and is glorified, glorifying the great name of Christ!
